Project information to come shortly.
Caterham, Surrey.

Situated on the high street of Caterham this old sorting postal depot has only part of its ground floor in use by the Post Office. It contains three floors plus basement which span from the high street to a car park at the back. Most of the building was used as office space in the past but there is no demand for it at the moment. The project consists of leaving the existing post office and turning the rest of the building into housing accommodation.
Nine new flats of various sizes (1, 2 &3 bedrooms) were introduced into this much disused building making good use of this brownfield site. Solar and PV panels are planned for the building to reduce its energy consumption.
Part of the brief also needed the front facade to be refurbished and accommodate the entrance into the residential units.
